Chip Carter
Chip Carter is the creator and host of Where the Food Comes From, a television and digital series highlighting the untold science and technology behind modern agriculture. Raised in a farming family, Chip began his career far from the fields as a syndicated columnist for the Chicago Tribune and Washington Post before transitioning into video journalism. His passion for storytelling eventually brought him back to agriculture — this time to showcase its technological revolution, from robotics and AI to blockchain. After thousands of farm visits, Chip is now collaborating with NASA to explore how humanity will grow food in space, including experiments with lunar soil and future Moon colonies. His work bridges farming, innovation, and the future of human survival beyond Earth.
