Rob Resnick (born May 26, 1989) is half of the American pop‑rap duo Timeflies, formed in 2010 alongside vocalist Cal Shapiro while attending Tufts University. As the group’s producer and beatmaker, he crafts their signature blend of hip‑hop, pop, and electronic sounds. Every other Tuesday, Resnick releases new remixes and original tracks in the “Timeflies Tuesday” series on YouTube, which has amassed millions of views. Their debut album, The Scotch Tape, reached number 8 on the iTunes overall chart and number 2 on the iTunes Pop chart, and the duo has sold over 150,000 albums and 800,000 singles. Resnick’s background in music composition and philosophy informs their genre‑crossing style, and he continues to engineer tracks and manage production from his studio in Los Angeles.
